The order book is full, the schedule is set, and then someone drops out. Or a project comes along that requires just a bit more capacity than the permanent team can handle. The solution seems simple: arrange for someone extra. But anyone who has done that a few times knows it is rarely that simple.

Someone who is available is not automatically someone who fits. And someone who does not fit costs more time than they provide.

OBS Workforce was founded based on that practical reality.

Who we are

OBS Workforce is part of the OBS Group, alongside OBS Techniek. From this technical background, we know how projects work, what happens on the shop floor, and what is specifically required of people. Not from an office, but from decades of project execution.

We provide technical personnel for various sectors: from industrial automation and mechanical engineering to infrastructure, installation technology, and logistics systems. Mechanics, electrical technicians, assembly workers, all-round technicians. People who start prepared and hit the ground running.

How we work

We do not start with a database of CVs. We start with your project.

What is already running, what phase is it in, where is the pressure, and what does this specifically require from someone on the shop floor? Only once that is clear do we look at people. Not just at what someone can do, but how someone works and whether that fits the context of this project.

Afterwards, we ensure that someone starts prepared. Work agreements clear, expectations discussed, certificates and PPEs arranged. No searching for answers on day one.

During the deployment, we stay in touch. With you and with the people on the shop floor. If something does not go as expected, we act immediately. No hassle, just solutions.

What that delivers

A supervisor who spends less time on adjustments. A team that works more calmly because no extra coordination is needed. A schedule that does not slowly slip because new people constantly need to be trained from scratch.

No short burst of speed that subsequently fades away. But progress that lasts.

What sets us apart

We are not a CV shop or a traditional recruitment agency. We are an extension of your technical team. This means we speak the language of the work, we understand what happens on the shop floor, and we can fall back on the technical knowledge of OBS Techniek if necessary.

We work with short lines of communication and fixed contact persons. You know who you are calling and you get an immediate answer. No large organization where you fall between the cracks.

And we think beyond the current request. What comes after this project? Where is the next peak? We prefer to build a sustainable partnership rather than a one-off delivery.

Who we work for

OBS Workforce works for system integrators, machine builders, installation companies, infrastructure contractors, and industrial service providers. Companies that work on a project basis, experience peaks and troughs in their staffing, and need a partner who can switch gears quickly without compromising on quality.

We are active in the Netherlands and can be deployed internationally where required.

Ready to switch gears?

Contact OBS Workforce. We ask the right questions, find the right people, and ensure they start prepared. Straight away.

Many technical companies recognize the pattern. The order book is full, the schedule is set, and then someone drops out.
