As a junior horticultural automation technician, you will work on smart, advanced greenhouse installations both at home and abroad. Together with experienced colleagues, you will ensure that modern greenhouses are not only structurally sound but also “think” smartly and efficiently thanks to automation. In this way, you help greenhouses literally and figuratively show their greenest side!
In this junior role, you will support the installation, testing, and maintenance of automation and electrical systems in the horticultural sector. You will help install climate systems, irrigation controls, motors, sensors, and screen controllers, and learn to carefully connect electrical components and cabling.
Step by step, you will work more independently using technical diagrams and installation drawings, developing insight into system configuration. Malfunctions? You will analyze these together with experienced technicians so that you can grow quickly in your profession.
You will work closely with project management and colleagues and, where appropriate, support the management or guidance of local teams. Thanks to your eagerness to learn, accuracy, and growing technical knowledge, the systems will run smoothly and reliably. A great result that you contribute to every day.
